Oil on canvas in original gilt wood frame. Measures 35" x 30" framed. Good condition. Harry Farlow (1882 - 1957) is an accomplished portrait painter who was active in Connecticut, New York City and Chicago where he was born in 1882. He studied at the Art Institute of Chicago from 1902 to 1904 and in 1906, when he also went to Cincinnati to study for three years at the Cincinnati Art Academy with Frank Duveneck. A brief return to the Chicago Institute for more study in 1909 was followed by enrollment at the Boston Museum School of Fine Arts as a student of Edmund Tarbell. In Connecticut, he was a member of the Connecticut Academy of Fine Arts in Hartford and the New Haven Paint and Clay Club. In New York City, he was a member of the MacDowell Club and the Salmagundi Club. less

The Chairish Buyer Guarantee ensures that you have complete peace of mind when

- Prior to shipping or local pickup, buyers may cancel an order for any reason, with the exception of some Made-to-Order items, where supplies have been purchased or work begun on the item.

- Chairish Express In-Home deliveries are currently only offered for international cross-border shipments.
- The item will be delivered to your home and placed in the desired room. The delivery service includes unpacking, inspecting, and removing packaging materials; and does not include installation or setting up the item.
- Shipping charges start at $999 and vary based on the size, weight, packaging, and/or the value of the item.
- Deliveries can take anywhere from 6 to 9 weeks to be delivered.
- Chairish Freight Delivery
- Delivered in a crate, to your front door.
- You will need tools and/or equipment to open the crate.

- Chairish Freight deliveries can take anywhere from 4 to 8 weeks.
- Only available in selected markets.
- Chairish In-Home Delivery
