Such a rare find in France, a large circa 1910-1920 Louis-XV type French country dining table in solid walnut with … Read more Such a rare find in France, a large circa 1910-1920 Louis-XV type French country dining table in solid walnut with thick woodblock parquetry top, 2 drop-on leaves to seat 12, full leg spreader, cabriole legs with acanthus carving ending in scroll feet all on a solid white oak frame.

Heavy and sturdy (190lbs), we had the frame all professionally tightened and re-glued and finished the top in 5 coats of minwax (it was time) with an Annie Sloan distressed finish to the base in Old Ochre Chalk Paint®. Photographed with inside lighting and in natural FL sunlight.

Measures 123" with both leaves or 103" with one leaf.

This table was significant enough to have been sold in the past by the famed Great Gatsby Auction in Atlanta. See less
