This is an elegant example of Italian mid-century craftsmanship which arrived in perfect shape to our days.
The lamp is strongly reminiscent of the iconic Stilnovo design but the structure doesn't show any label of that.
The delicate glass feature a frosted hand-blown glass which comes in perfect conditions (no chips or cracks at all).
The Murano technique used is called "Incamiciato" where two different layers ( one clear and one white) are gently fused together and diffuse a warm gentle light.
Some of the electric parts are still made of white ceramic (parts that are now substituted with plastics) which gives an extra value to this beautiful lamp.
The structure is made of precious brass and bordeaux (burgundy) lacquered parts.
