The wood … Read more This sideboard by Dante Morozzi (Florence 1899 - Geneva 1965) is made of olive wood and olive root. The wood has a thickess of 3 cm. The features fully reflect the style that was in vogue during the fascist period and contain soft and monumental lines, probably as a result of his collaboration with Marcello Piacentini. On the sides in the niches, the credenza features elegant female sculptures. The piece of furniture exemplifies the concept of functional sculpture in solid wood of generous thickness (3cm) and it weighs 100kg despite its small dimensions.
