This piece was commissioned by Cor Unum ceramics to celebrate the De Stijl’s 100th anniversary.
This rough ceramic object was constructed by ripping up and gluing back together slabs of flattened clay. There is no molding involved; this ceramic technique is visceral, raw, expressive, and unique.
