Made from solid and veneered walnut, this drinks cabinet is part of space between space a 5-piece nasa inspired collection by azmy anything - as featured on design milk. The cabinet door design is based on the titanium chevrons used in nasa's lunar rover’s innovative mesh tyre design, and the body contains a sliding pulley system - which means with a light touch the drinks cabinet slides up, the door down. With a simple rotation of the handle, the cabinet is locked in the open position, leaving the cabinet open for access and the top at the perfect height to fix yourself a drink. Along with the sliding pulley system, gas spring struts are built in, meaning that the cabinet won’t come crashing down. Instead, once the handle is unlocked, it will glide down and close with a gentle touch.
azmy anything is a bespoke design and furniture studio creating custom pieces that satisfyingly solve problems, as well as beautiful objects that are made to order. At the helm is adam azmy, part film-maker, part woodworker, part egyptian, part british. Adam’s love for, in his own words, 'making things almost too complicated' goes back to his childhood fascination with retro-futurism: the constant innovation that came with the space race - the testing, learning and building, and the disregard for aesthetics in pursuit of pushing the boundaries of functionality. The accidental beauty of highly functional design, the joy of an object that changes as it’s used or that works in an unexpected way. The result? one-off pieces that are ingeniously designed, brilliantly useful and meticulously made. Adam spent 10 years in the film industry working in visual effects, most notably on blockbusters gravity and avatar, which both won a vfx oscar and bafta, and as a director. His current short film doing the festival circuit is murmurs of a macrocosm, which uses sounds from space mixed with nasa audio archives. This marriage of meticulous technological detail and creativity carry through into his hand-made creations, too. Finding the best way to incorporate interesting design features that transform them into more than a purely functional piece.

Orders where Free Local Pickup or Seller Managed Local Delivery were selected:
- Upon inspection, If you decide not to move forward with the purchase, you or your agent must refuse the item at the time of pickup/delivery from the seller
- Once you have taken possession of the item, all sales are final
- International, cross-border returns may require different processes depending on the countries between which the item is shipping to/from, and the buyer is responsible and duties (if applicable, on cross-border orders).
- On approved returns, the buyer is responsible for the full cost of return packing and shipping.
Cancellations
- Prior to shipping or local pickup, buyers may cancel an order for any reason, with the exception of some Made-to-Order items, where supplies have been purchased or work begun on the item.
- Please notify us within 24 hours of purchase if you would like to cancel an order, as prompt cancellation will reduce the likelihood that you will incur return shipping charges.
- Once shipping or pickup has been initiated, the cancellation will be considered a return and you will be responsible for the cost of shipping.

- Chairish Express In-Home deliveries are currently only offered for international cross-border shipments.

- Deliveries can take anywhere from 6 to 9 weeks to be delivered.
- Chairish Freight Delivery
