The spark of the original fire, the joyful fire or the spiritual fire. Fire is our home.
this first series produced by les choses is an aesthetic exploration of the primary element. With its bold lines and brutalist design, the brasero n°1 reflects designer yoan claveau de lima's commitment to not let form be dictated by function. These pieces, conceived as true sculptures, are steel monoliths that embody the age-old human need to rationalize the natural power of flame.
after several months of prototyping, yoan claveau de lima was able to find the ideal composition and the right assemblies in order to obtain pieces resistant to temperature rise. The use of corten steel, thanks to its predisposition to self-patina, inscribes the pieces in a long time.
the meeting between the tension of the lines, the brutality of the material and the sensuality of the flames, offers to this series an accuracy at the same time aesthetic and functional. Here more than a symbolic opposition, a translation of being one with the element and sharing with his loved ones: anchoring in the ground, multiplication of the faces of the object, proximity of the hearth, food.
the robustness of the pieces, the unalterable material and the sincerity of their creation make them subjects inscribed in an intergenerational temporality.
the publishing house les choses, in collaboration with ycl, has taken up the challenge of satisfying the tastes of aesthetes and gourmets.
the brasero n°1 is a monumental piece perfectly adapted to large spaces: terrace, beach, park.
in all seasons, thanks to its width and its great resistance, it can receive the generous fires we all dream of.
the brasero n°1 is made of 6mm corten steel. The grill is made of 3mm stainless steel.

Orders where Free Local Pickup or Seller Managed Local Delivery were selected:
- Upon inspection, If you decide not to move forward with the purchase, you or your agent must refuse the item at the time of pickup/delivery from the seller
- Once you have taken possession of the item, all sales are final
- International, cross-border returns may require different processes depending on the countries between which the item is shipping to/from, and the buyer is responsible and duties (if applicable, on cross-border orders).
- On approved returns, the buyer is responsible for the full cost of return packing and shipping.
Cancellations
- Prior to shipping or local pickup, buyers may cancel an order for any reason, with the exception of some Made-to-Order items, where supplies have been purchased or work begun on the item.
- Please notify us within 24 hours of purchase if you would like to cancel an order, as prompt cancellation will reduce the likelihood that you will incur return shipping charges.

- Chairish Express In-Home Delivery
- Chairish Express In-Home deliveries are currently only offered for international cross-border shipments.
- The item will be delivered to your home and placed in the desired room. The delivery service includes unpacking, inspecting, and removing packaging materials; and does not include installation or setting up the item.
- Shipping charges start at $999 and vary based on the size, weight, packaging, and/or the value of the item.
- Deliveries can take anywhere from 6 to 9 weeks to be delivered.
- Chairish Freight Delivery
- Delivered in a crate, to your front door.
- You will need tools and/or equipment to open the crate.
- Shipping charges start at $799 and vary based on the size, weight, packaging, and/or the value of the item.
- Chairish Freight deliveries can take anywhere from 4 to 8 weeks.
- Only available in selected markets.
- Chairish In-Home Delivery
- The item will be delivered to your home and placed in the desired room. The delivery service includes unpacking, inspecting, and removing packaging materials; and does not include installation or setting up the item.
