belle epoque refined side table by fischel & söhne, bearing the incised maker’s mark “fischel” on the frame. The bent-wood construction, typical of viennese/bohemian manufacture, features slender legs and graceful curved braces, resulting in a light yet architectural presence. The rectangular solid-wood top (or specify shape) complements the arched substructure. Skilled craftsmanship and elegant proportions typify the piece.
