Rare Table Lamp by Stilnovo, Milano, Italy, 1950s–60s
With integrated mirrored glass bowl / ashtray and original label
A highly unusual and rare piece from Italian lighting pioneer Stilnovo, this sculptural table lamp doubles as an ashtray or bowl. It features a bent metal shade with four slotted cut-outs designed both for heat dissipation and decorative light effect.
A twined chromed stem holds the socket and shade in a graceful arc, wrapping downward to support a circular mirrored glass bowl, creating a striking modernist silhouette. The bulb socket is original and made of plastic.
