I was always inspired by pareidolia, the tendency to perceive well-known everyday things in a very spacial manner, seeing human-like attributes in unanimated objects. This old tree trunk I came across near to my house in Milan reminds me of Munch’s The Scream, and even more of a female genital organ, from which the title “Mother Nature”.
