The graceful vegetative symbols representing flowers, leaves and branches are artfully intertwined. The edge of the rug is decorated with an edging (border). The border forms a glorious contrast to the center. In the middle of the central field of this Chinese is the symmetrical center, also called medallion. The design of the field is arranged in such a way that it gives the impression that the medallion is floating on the field. The background of this Chinese is blue gray. The colors yellow beige and blue gray dominate the overall impression. The border features blue gray and beige. The gray center combines the colors blue gray and light brown. You are not the first to appreciate this Chinese. It has had owners before you who have cherished and used it. It was hand knotted about 1990. It has been thoroughly cleaned and only partially restored condition but is in good condition. We have not completely restored this Chinese because we think it is as it is effect. Chinese rugs are hand knotted from silky shiny wool. For the production of high quality Chinese rugs the coat of the Tibetan goat is used. The knot density is, as is typical in Chinese rugs, relatively low and the pile is shorn long. Wool is obtained through the gentle shearing of sheep. Virgin wool is a sustainable, natural raw material with a number of impressive properties: Due to wool's natural fat content, the surface repels water droplets and is thus naturally impervious to dirt. Wool also offers excellent thermal insulation, has a regulating effect on the indoor climate and muffles sound. The weft and warp threads of this Chinese are made of cotton. This versatile material is tear-resistant and stretchable and, therefore, ideal for a durable backing fabric. less

Orders where Free Local Pickup or Seller Managed Local Delivery were selected:
- Upon inspection, If you decide not to move forward with the purchase, you or your agent must refuse the item at the time of pickup/delivery from the seller
- Once you have taken possession of the item, all sales are final
- International, cross-border returns may require different processes depending on the countries between which the item is shipping to/from, and the buyer is responsible and duties (if applicable, on cross-border orders).
- On approved returns, the buyer is responsible for the full cost of return packing and shipping.
Cancellations

- Chairish Freight Delivery
- Delivered in a crate, to your front door.

- Chairish Freight deliveries can take anywhere from 4 to 8 weeks.
