This exceptional piece still brilliantly displays the gorgeous red and black lacquer finish it once had.

With ornate carvings surrounding the frame, outer panels and drawers of the cabinet, depicting various flowers are distinctive of furniture produced in the Shaanxi region. At the bottom part, the two front feet are also delicately carved.

Certainly made by a highly skilled craftsman, very few of these pieces were ever produced and they are very much investment pieces these days.

This imposing, beautifully made cabinet with two central doors and a rounded frame with a fixed panel on each side which would make a fabulous statement piece in any large room. See less
