The files are pierced and carved with flowers and dragons, armrests are decorated on one side by a dragon impressive; between each foot-claw, a decorated apertured cross member.

The seat upholstery is modern tapestry fabric covering to taste.

The House of Bamboo was founded in 1872 by Alfred and Ernest Perret Vibert in Paris. They were specialized in creating small furniture Bamboo subsequently their creations Furen very influenced by chinoiserie and japanism very fashionable in the late nineteenth century. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
