Sideboard cabinet with drawers and doors, in the blond mahogany selection, built with disassembly plant, three central compartments, base, and top.
Carpentry of excellent quality.
The base opens welcoming an order of lines that widen and close until they widen again welcoming the body of the cabinet.
On the sides there are 4 framed drawers with bronze eyelets in the center, follow by two doors with half three-dimensional stars supported by a fillet maple giving an exquisite combination with the grain of the wood.
In the central compartment, we have the landscape of Punta San Vigilio on Lake Garda (see photo original landscape similar to the inlay), inlaid by Giuseppe Anzani.
The inlay, takes the landscape of the lake as a painting, considering the smallest details from the bricks of the houses, the folds in the clothes of the character, the foliage, the reflection in the water, the shadows and lights. The amazing and extraordinary craftsmanship in the realization of the work definitely attributes the value of the Masterpiece that has the signature of the work in the lower-left corner.
The flared top underneath takes up the architecture of the base and veneered in open stain, has a riser on the back that can be removed.
Interiors; well finished are veneered in oak with grain that follows all the shelves and identical in the doors.
The design is attributed to Paolo Buffa who had a continuous collaboration with Giuseppe Anzani, as well as elements such as the architecture of the cabinet and the base and half 10-pointed star three-dimensional
Giuseppe Anzani during the twenty years from the Thirties to the Fifties, actively collaborated with architects and artists for the production of inlaid panels to be mounted on furniture made on commission.
In this case Paolo Buffa but also Giovanni Gariboldi, Ottavio Cabiati, Antonio Cassi Ramelli, Osvaldo Borsani. This piece has an attribution mark,
