Directly from our private collection a set of four dining chairs designed by Afra & Tobia Scarpa for a Villa in Francavilla Fontana, near Brindisi, Italy, in the late 60s. The shape presents some solutions that is possible to find in other Scarpa projects. The legs, made of beech, with their double trestles structure remind the Cassina model 121 ones. The seat and the back made of plywood, upholstered with brick coloured leather, present an ergonomic shape that is possible to find in the late 80s projects of the Venetian spouses.
Excellent vintage condition. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
