The graphics of this rug is particularly rich. The essential symbolism is an expression of the nomadic populations who find the first inspiration in the nature around them. Through these symbols it express abstract concepts, which are linked to their life experiences.
Beni Ourain are Berber rugs made in Morocco, hand knotted with raw wool, characterized by the colors of wool in its natural shades and very basic geometric designs.
Used as beds under the tents by the nomadic peoples of the Sahara desert, they offer a pleasant comfort thanks to their soft wool.
