Village rugs, which are born in the family looms, are characterized by a very long fleece and a shiny and resistant wool. Abstract and essential motifs are decorated. They are not meant to be sold on western markets, but to provide a bed on which to sleep and cover themselves on cold nights. Some refer to the motives of the tribal tradition while others are of pure invention. See less
