Exceptional pair of ceramic table lamp by bitossi, italy, 1960s. Sculptural pieces made of handmade ceramic in blue or grey or green tones, with a combination of dry and glazed finishes. With special new custom made blue silk lamp shades with warm gold inner-shade by rené houben. The lamps are in perfect vintage condition. The pair is offered included shade! the will be sold as a pair or individually. We offer more special ceramic lamps with special silk shades from rene houben in different blue tones and different forms (for reference see also images). Approximate dimensions: lamp 1 ceramic only h 8.9''(22.5 cm) x ø 4.7''(12 cm) at base height to top of lamp-holder circa 21.1''(53.6 cm). Lamp 2 ceramic only h 15.4'' (39 cm) x ø 5.9''(15 cm) at base height to top of lamp-holder circa 34.8''(88.4 cm). René houben is a renowned dutch light designer. René has been designing unique lamp shades for more than 25 years. From colorful and exuberant to modest. For every extraordinary lamp base (carefully selected antique and vintage items), he designs an applicable shade. His custom made creations are unique because of his interesting use of form and color. They also stand out because of their indirect, soothing and intimate light. Houben is well known and loved by interior designers and decorators all-over europe. Italian-made ceramics have a rich and notable background, and, as any midcentury enthusiast or collector may know, some of the most notable work is that of the company bitossi ceramiche. Distinguished by brightly colored glazes and impeccable textures, these pieces are truly works of art sought out by collectors all around the world. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
issues arising from misattribution,

Orders where Free Local Pickup or Seller Managed Local Delivery were selected:
- Upon inspection, If you decide not to move forward with the purchase, you or your agent must refuse the item at the time of pickup/delivery from the seller
- Once you have taken possession of the item, all sales are final
- International, cross-border returns may require different processes depending on the countries between which the item is shipping to/from, and the buyer is responsible and duties (if applicable, on cross-border orders).
- On approved returns, the buyer is responsible for the full cost of return packing and shipping.
Cancellations
- Prior to shipping or local pickup, buyers may cancel an order for any reason, with the exception of some Made-to-Order items, where supplies have been purchased or work begun on the item.
- Please notify us within 24 hours of purchase if you would like to cancel an order, as prompt cancellation will reduce the likelihood that you will incur return shipping charges.

- Chairish Express In-Home deliveries are currently only offered for international cross-border shipments.
- The item will be delivered to your home and placed in the desired room. The delivery service includes unpacking, inspecting, and removing packaging materials; and does not include installation or setting up the item.

- Deliveries can take anywhere from 6 to 9 weeks to be delivered.
- Chairish Freight Delivery
