This is a … Read more A beautiful, 3-seater sofa designed by Martin Visser, manufactured by ‘t Spectrum in the Netherlands around 1960.

This is a beautiful piece, made of high quality chrome plated with black lacquered metal and new upholstery. It has been upholstered in high quality grey Fleck Basalt upholstery which fits the piece perfectly! The seating depth can easily be extended by raising and pulling out the seat, after which it can be used as a sleeping bed.

This is an innovative piece and a true icon of Dutch mid-century design! The slightly tilted backrest and high armrests create a comfortable seating experience for this very modern, timeless piece.

It remains in very good, vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
