Wall lamp designer: unknown year: around 1940 manufacturer: probably holophane country: france measurements: h 16,5 cm w 56,5 cm d 10,5 cm material: sheet steel box painted in silk matt white, semi-cylindrical reflector made of pressed glass, partially covered in white with a clear, optically press condition: good condition special remarks: with few signs of wear. The french wall lamp is very elaborate to produce. A flat, glare-free radiation into the room, combined with the "magnification field" below. Possibly intended for use above the mirror or as a reading light. this piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
