Pierre Gautier Delaye (1923-2006), rare pair of solid beech coffee tables, France, 1955. The rectangular openwork top in the middle rests on 4 log legs joined by crossbars. Like Charlotte Perriand, or previously Jacques Henry Le Même, Pierre Gautier Delaye revisits the codes of popular furniture.
