Stejnar's overhead lights … Read more This charming chandeliers designed designer Emil Stejnar in the 1950s for the Vienna lighting manufacturers Rupert Nikoll. Stejnar's overhead lights are characterized by their star and flower shapes. This specimen, the Sputnik lamp, is probably one of the best known, which is often referred to the great confusion as dandelion or a snowball. The Sputnik is well and remains one of the most celebrated (and most copied) Ceiling Light of the 20th century. It is easily recognized due to its bright glass flowers, throw the lively shadows on the walls. The lamp inspired a generation of designers of the Space Age era and led to futuristic designs themselves. The detailed glass processing remind us simultaneously to Steinar turning to the magic of the cosmos as well as the lighting of the space age era.

The chandelier has a total of 17 E14er - versions. The body is made of brass, the outgoing brass rods are painted and largely decorated with diamond-shaped glass balls and glass flowers elaborately produced. I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs,
