Lidia Domagała graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Wroclaw in 1985, earning a diploma in ceramics and painting. Prior to this, she trained in the studios of several distinguished Polish artists. She continues to work in both media, and has been a member of the Association of Polish Visual Artists (ZPAP) since 1988.Domagała sees her work as an invitation to conversation. Painting, for her, is a from of dialogue between the physical and spiritual worlds. When she works, she trusts her intuition. Indeed, she feels that creation is an expression of her emotions. Despite working in the abstract genre, Domagała still references nature and it is a great source of inspiration for her compositions. Her works are as colourful and mysterious as the events and emotions that she experiences in real life. Through her use of colour, light and space, her paintings come alive. Having exhibited in both solo and collaborative shows on numerous occasions,Lidia Domagała is already a success in Europe. Her works are part of a number of both private and public collections across Europe, as well as in the United States. Today, she lives and works in Zielona Góra, Poland.
