The table has a generous square top with a rich, warm reddish-brown finish, showcasing the distinctive grain patterns and variations of burl wood. A brass frame surrounds the tabletop, adding a refined contrast to the organic character of the wood. The substantial tabletop rests on a centrally positioned rectangular pedestal base, creating a clean, architectural silhouette. Its low proportions and geometric construction are characteristic of Italian furniture design from the 1970s. The combination of richly figured wood and brass gives this piece a sophisticated appearance, making it an attractive addition to both contemporary and vintage interiors. The table is in good vintage condition, showing signs of age and use. The brass edging displays several visible marks, scratches and areas of wear, as shown in the detailed photographs. The wooden surfaces also show minor signs of use consistent with the table's age. A beautiful example of Italian 1970s design, combining luxurious materials with understated geometric proportions.
