The style and motifs reflect the weaving tradition of Harrania near Giza, made famous by the Ramses Wissa Wassef Art Centre. There is no signature or label, so attribution to the Centre is neither documented nor claimed.

Two tall fruit trees with yellow and orange fruit stand against a dark brown background. Many white doves with red beaks perch in the treetops. Below, a blue-gray pond teems with ducks, geese, and other waterfowl in yellow, orange, red, pink, white, black, and brown, bordered by a yellow-olive shoreline. The birds are woven freely and without repetition, giving the rug a lively, almost naive character. The colors appear natural and warm. This piece is suitable as a statement wall hanging or as a floor rug in low-traffic areas. Its size makes it a striking feature in living rooms, stairwells, and hallways.

Condition
Used, good vintage condition. The colors are vibrant and the weave is dense. There are a few snags and minor signs of wear; the white cotton fringe is partially frayed. Please see the detailed photos.
