The Nimbus chair is distinguished by its lightweight, highly graphic design. The circular seats and wide, fan-shaped backrests are made of moulded plywood with a cherry wood veneer finish. The entire structure is supported by a minimalist black lacquered metal frame.

The warm, rich tone of the cherry wood contrasts beautifully with the black metal structure, emphasising the geometric character of the design. The distinctive backrests give the chairs a highly recognisable silhouette, characteristic of Scandinavian furniture design from the second half of the 20th century.

An important feature of the design is its stackable construction, allowing the chairs to be stacked together for convenient, space-saving storage.

The chairs retain their original manufacturer's markings: Tranekær Denmark / Tranekær Furniture.
