An extraordinary Isabeline-style mirror, made in Spain in the early 20th century. Rectangular in format and vertically oriented, it features a wide carved and gilded wooden frame, articulated by successive moldings that frame the mirror and become more ornate at the corners and the top. The decoration combines rocaille motifs, leaves, flowers, and vegetal scrolls, arranged around a composition with a distinctly historicist character.

The most striking element is the upper crest, conceived as an openwork structure of curved and intertwined forms that develops symmetrically from a large central shell or scallop. from this central shell, scrolls, leaves, and floral motifs extend to both sides and connect with the ornaments at the ends of the frame. The corners also feature more elaborate carvings, with curved cartouches, leaves, and vegetal elements that accentuate the transition between the different sides of the molding.
