An extraordinary Art Deco dressing table made in France around 1930. with a simple and refined structure, the piece's main interest lies in the treatment of the wood veneers, whose grain has been carefully arranged in different directions to create geometric compositions with a distinctly Art Deco influence. On the fronts, this interplay of orientation generates triangular and angular shapes that make the wood itself the primary ornamental element of the piece. The sides feature a single, large veneer with a particularly prominent grain that runs the entire surface and extends symmetrically to the inner sides. The piece is finished with a marble top, whose understated elegance contrasts with the movement of the grain. The spherical, silver-finished metal handles add a subtle decorative touch; there are three: one on the central drawer and two on the side doors. It stands on four low, slender legs with gently sinuous profiles, visually lightening the overall design and completing its Art Deco character. Perfect as a dressing table, desk, or console; in short, a versatile piece of furniture. Minor wear is visible in the images.
