Spectacular Italian mid-century modern floral wall or ceiling light, attributed to VeArt, dating from the 1960s.
This striking hemispherical light fixture features 32 individually crafted clear glass flowers, each displaying a distinctive five-petal shape with beautifully textured geometric detailing. The flowers are arranged in a dense, radiating composition on a silver-toned chromed metal structure, creating an elegant and sculptural effect.
The transparent glass captures and reflects the light, producing a beautiful interplay of reflections and shadows. The combination of delicate glass flowers and polished chrome gives the piece a refined and luminous appearance, making it a remarkable decorative statement whether illuminated or not.
The fixture can be installed as either a ceiling light or a wall sconce, subject to appropriate mounting and electrical requirements.
Similar examples have frequently been attributed to Paolo Venini for VeArt.
The fixture is equipped with E14 bulb sockets.
