Its distinctive feature is its round top in the form of a decorative bronze tray, adorned with intricately crafted geometric and floral ornaments characteristic of Oriental art. The central portion of the tray is filled with an elaborate, symmetrical ornamental composition, surrounded by concentric decorative bands. The subtle patina of the metal beautifully highlights the richness of the pattern and lends the piece an authentic, historic character. The tray is set in a round wooden frame, supported by four slender, slightly tapering legs. The simple, harmonious base structure provides a perfect contrast to the richly decorated metal top. It bears the marks of time.
