The manufacturer's stamp is located on the inside of the back panel.

this rare model is based on the iconic "ry16" design (1955) by the renowned designer hans j. Wegner. The side panels extend all the way to the top, enclosing the slightly recessed top. It is a fascinating reinterpretation, likely produced by veb deutsche werkstätten zeulenroda, judging by the turned knob handles. The decorative molding above the drawers, made of a contrasting wood against the reddish-stained teak veneer, reflects the furniture-making style of the time, balancing design with practicality.

the chest of drawers is in good used condition. The teak surface has been gently cleaned and refreshed with furniture oil. Minor imperfections have been repaired with black putty. The original patina, with its slight color variations and typical signs of wear, has been preserved.
