Their shallow, shell-like form gives the lamps a refined, understated appearance, characteristic of italian modernist lighting from the period. The upper section of each glass shade is decorated with a series of fine, parallel grooves that follow its curved surface, while the lower portion remains smooth and softly translucent. This contrast creates an interesting visual texture and allows the light to spread gently through the glass. A small brass-colored fastening detail at the bottom adds a subtle decorative accent. The gently projecting oval shape gives the lamps an attractive profile when viewed from the side, making them particularly suitable for hallways, bedrooms or as a symmetrical pair beside a mirror or sideboard. The glass shows light age-related traces, with minor surface marks consistent with vintage use. Their elegant proportions and restrained detailing make this pair a beautiful example of italian lighting design from the 1960s. Good vintage condition.
