Hand signed and dated by the Artist. Very good conditions. Emilio Greco (Catania, 1913 - Roma, 1995) was a popular Italian artist, engraver and designer. He was famous especially for the graphic works; he started with an apprentice in a Sicilian stonemason's shop and then he moved to Rome where he lived with other artists in Villa Massimo and where he exhibited his artworks for the first time. In 1948, he became a teacher at the famous artistic high school of Via Ripetta, in Rome; Greco became famous for his monument ''Pinocchio and la Fatina'' in Collodi's village and for his portraits of women. Picasso said about him ''Greco is the greatest designer in Europe''. He was a regular traveler and he is still today considered one of the greatest sculptors of the 20th century. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity

The Chairish Buyer Guarantee ensures that you have complete peace of mind when
making a purchase on Chairish, in the event that your item:
- Does not arrive
- Is broken during transit
- Is entirely different than what you purchased

- Prior to shipping or local pickup, buyers may cancel an order for any reason, with the exception of some Made-to-Order items, where supplies have been purchased or work begun on the item.

- Chairish Express In-Home Delivery
- Chairish Express In-Home deliveries are currently only offered for international cross-border shipments.
- The item will be delivered to your home and placed in the desired room. The delivery service includes unpacking, inspecting, and removing packaging materials; and does not include installation or setting up the item.
- Shipping charges start at $999 and vary based on the size, weight, packaging, and/or the value of the item.
- Deliveries can take anywhere from 6 to 9 weeks to be delivered.
- Chairish Freight Delivery
- Delivered in a crate, to your front door.
- You will need tools and/or equipment to open the crate.
- Shipping charges start at $799 and vary based on the size, weight, packaging, and/or the value of the item.
- Chairish Freight deliveries can take anywhere from 4 to 8 weeks.
- Only available in selected markets.
- Chairish In-Home Delivery
