Refined, this marquetry furniture is summoned by a marble of the Pyrenees combining shades of gray and white. A wide thickness, this marble is equipped with a gorge in its periphery and cuttings cut at the front.
This small furniture has a large drawer partly high, a flap and two low doors. These openings all have a tab cup frame and are adorned in the inner part of wood with a butterfly wing closure. Light and tinted wood fillets, formed with angles to Greek, come up with the contours.
The cut sides cut and the blanks also benefit from wooden marquetry panels. They are embellished with bronze medallions delicately chiseled in the upper and bass.
We also find a bronze decoration on the low crossing and bronze entrances of origin accompanied by their reported key. All in perfect working order.
Supported by two original compasses, the flap of this secretary is garnished with a red leather, with golden thumbnail with angles and in the center. The interior is sober as at the time of Louis XVI. It has a shelf, two lockers and four drawers, accompanied by original brass draw button.
The lower part of this furniture is composed of two doors discovering a consequent storage space decorated with a large shelf.
Graceful and elegant, this XVIII secretary of the ideal dimensions will delight you by the finesse of its ornamentations.
