An expressive bronze sculpture by Monica Mechling, depicting two graceful hands emerging from sweeping folds of drapery. One hand reaches upward with an open palm, while the other rests gently against the extended forearm, creating a composition that suggests connection, tenderness, and hope.

Elongated fingers and flowing contours give the sculpture a sense of movement, while its warm golden bronze patina highlights the modeled details. A polished circular green marble base, accented with natural veining, provides a rich contrast to the bronze.

Signed Monica Mechling and bearing the Tallix foundry stamp, the sculpture is marked A/P, designating an artist’s proof. Its slender proportions make it an elegant focal point for a mantel, console, desk, or library shelf, where it can be appreciated from multiple angles.
