This serene and radiant sculpture depicts the Medicine Buddha seated in a meditative posture upon a detailed, double-lotus pedestal. Crafted from heavy metal with a brilliant gilt finish, the figure is characterized by the traditional medicine bowl resting in his lap and a healing herb sprig held in his right hand. The Buddha is adorned in gracefully draped robes with finely incised hem patterns, and features a serene facial expression with downcast eyes and a tightly coiled ushnisha. The warm golden patina and meticulous detailing make this piece a profound focal point for a home altar, a meditation space, or a distinguished collection of Asian spiritual art.
