exceptional complete vintage bathroom ensemble featuring a spectacular double-layered mirror, sculptural wall sconces and substantial 11–12 mm thick smoked-glass accessories.
a remarkable and beautifully preserved italian modernist bathroom ensemble attributed to veca, dating to circa 1970.
over 50 years old, this sophisticated composition combines peach-pink tinted mirror glass, a raised clear bevelled mirror, thick smoked glass and polished chrome.
more than a collection of functional bathroom accessories, this ensemble represents a striking architectural composition in glass and metal.
spectacular double-layered mirror
the centrepiece features two separate superimposed mirrors:
* large peach-pink tinted background mirror: 109.5 × 57.5 cm.
* raised clear bevelled oval mirror: 70 × 47 cm.
the central bevelled mirror is mounted forward of the tinted background mirror, creating an elegant three-dimensional effect and a sophisticated interplay of reflections.
this distinctive construction is one of the ensemble’s defining architectural features.
exceptional smoked glass – 11–12 mm thick
one of the most impressive features is the substantial thickness of the smoked glass used for the shelf and curved towel rails.
approximately 11–12 mm thick, these beautifully shaped and polished glass elements demonstrate the quality and sculptural character of the design.

the survival of the original smoked-glass drinking cup is particularly noteworthy, as such delicate removable accessories are frequently lost over time.
condition
very good original vintage condition, especially considering its age of more than five decades.
only a few extremely small chips are present on the pointed glass edges of one wall sconce. They are discreet, practically invisible once installed, and documented in the detailed photographs.
all remaining components are in very good condition, with minor signs of age and careful use.
original electrical components remain in place, but the wall sconces require rewiring before use.
