A breath of French tradition emanates from this superb earthenware trivet from the Gien factory, an emblem of French ceramic craftsmanship since the 19th century.
Square in shape with delicately rounded corners, it features a circular medallion at its center adorned with floral motifs and intertwined arabesques, framed by a frieze of acanthus leaves and blue dots. The border is punctuated by blue scrolls against a pristine white background—a blue and white design of timeless elegance.
On the underside, four ball feet ensure its stability, and the factory's mark attests to its authenticity: "Gien France — guaranteed unalterable decoration, fired at 1150°C." A hallmark of quality.
Slight wear consistent with its age, a few scratches on the feet, but overall in very good condition. Dimensions: 26 x 25 cm, height 2.5 cm.
