with the Baxter Budapest, you're acquiring an icon of contemporary Italian design. This sofa was Paola Navone's first design for the leather manufacturer Baxter in the Como region and was launched in 2003. Its impact stems from large, clean lines. Wide, block-like armrests and a solid frame enclose the sumptuous cushions. Flat metal legs elevate the substantial body just above the floor. The real star is the leather. In a deep brown-burgundy hue, it displays a vibrant, crinkled patina that gives each piece of furniture its own unique character and only gets more beautiful with age. The large, soft seat and back cushions invite you to sink in. Thus, the Budapest combines rigorous form with a surprisingly comfortable seating experience. I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs,
designer records,
or other literature sources and take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising
from
misattribution
