Magnificent and unique large shell-shaped sconce in murano mouth-blown crystal glass and solid brass. This stunning and unique light was designed by barovier and produced in italy during the 1940s. The finely crafted murano glass recalls the shape of a shell or leaf, with beautiful sculptural details. It was mouth-blown by murano craftsmen of the period in clear crystal glass, creating wonderful reflections and an especially striking effect when illuminated. Fully original and in fabulous condition, the lamp has been professionally wired and tested. It is compatible with both us and eu/uk standards and uses one regular e27 light bulb. The backplate and arm are crafted in solid brass and have been left with their original natural patina. This gives the metal a beautiful warm golden tone while preserving its charm and historical character. An incredibly elegant and decorative sconce, perfect for adding character to both mid-century and classic interiors. Dimensions (cm): height - 24 width - 22 depth - 12 this piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
