The set consists … Read more A handsome bespoke set of four genuine labeled "Target" dining chairs made by McGuire, San Francisco, California. The set consists of two armchairs (#MCM59) and two dining side chairs (#MCM60). The set features rattan pole construction with a square back centered by an iconic circular target design set within a X-form frame. The armchairs are crafted with gracefully sloped arms. The chairs sit atop rattan pole legs joined by straight spindle stretchers. The rattan frames are reinforced with leather rawhide straps on the exposed joinery. The rattan has a custom warm blonde finish with a subtle intentionally aged craquelure lacquer finish to mimic age. The loose seat cushions are finished in a stylish tactile coral-tone fabric and lay atop rattan spindle seat platforms. The rattan frames are solid and strong having excellent joinery and craftsmanship in exceptional condition. The set comes from a dry non-humid, mold free California climate. The chairs blend Organic Modern, California Coastal, and Palm Beach Tropical influences, suitable for a variety of interiors. Each chair has a McGuire plaque underneath the seat. Sold as a set of four. Measurements listed are of armchairs. Side chairs measure 20" wide, 20" deep, 36" tall, with seats measuring 19" high. Arms of armchairs measure 25" tall.
