This pair of vintage obscure 1960's nickel silver over brass table lamps are in the style and great attribution of James Mont. They have Asian medallions in each of the column center form.
James Mont was a glamorous furniture designer who bridged styles of Art Deco, Hollywood Regency and Asian Chinoiserie. They are modernist in feel. Their wide plinth base brings solidity.
They were restored with nickel silver over the original brass back in 2010 and also rewired then with a sliver cord. They have great weight to them. There are no shades or finials. You will do that at your end. We have never seen another pair back then or now. Obscure, chic and hard to come by. The height to the top of the socket is 26.25 " H and the height to the top of where the finial would be is 33.5" H.
Great bedside lamps, console lamps, cabinet lamps or misc.
