Magnificent romantic Art Nouveau decoration, bucolic, of daisies, foliage, grasses, and scrolls in dark pink transfer, delicately hand-embellished with shades of fuchsia pink, mauve, nuanced green, yellow, and brown. The rim is slightly scalloped. Attractive handles and knobs, four small feet, decorated exterior, undecorated interior. Can be used as a bowl or salad bowl without its lid.

30cm wide with handles, 21cm deep and wide without handles, 11cm high with feet and without lid, 21-22cm maximum height with lid. Very good overall condition for its age. There is a small chip on one rim and some very discreet minor scuff marks, a little patina inside and out, and a few scratches on the inside.

The lid doesn't fit the tureen perfectly and can slip slightly to one side or the other, while still being held in place by the rim. This could be a manufacturing irregularity or the lid could be from a piece of the same model but with very slightly different dimensions. Approximately 1.5-2 kg. This piece has an attribution mark,
