Each lamp consists of a vertically mounted, rounded brass backplate supporting two slender tubular arms that extend diagonally upward at different heights. The deliberately offset composition gives the lamps a dynamic, almost abstract appearance, reflecting the experimental spirit of italian lighting design during the space age era. What makes these wall lights particularly interesting is their remarkably simple construction. Rather than relying on elaborate decorative elements, the design achieves its sculptural quality through the interplay of straight cylinders, sharp angles and carefully balanced proportions. The exposed bulbs emerge directly from the ends of the brass tubes, emphasizing the architectural character of the fixtures. When illuminated, the upward-facing light sources cast small, overlapping halos onto the wall, adding another dimension to the composition. Displayed together, the two lamps create a striking visual rhythm, making them especially attractive beside a large mirror, above a sideboard or as accent lighting in a living room or entrance hall. The brass has developed a rich, naturally aged patina, with darker areas, subtle oxidation and minor surface marks that reveal the history of the pieces. The combination of restrained geometry and expressive proportions makes this pair an interesting example of italian mid-century lighting from the 1960s. The lights require e14 light bulbs.
