The white marble bodies, tapering towards the base, are embellished with gilt bronze ornaments: beaded friezes, foliate garlands, and foliage motifs at the base. The side handles, in the form of sculpted ram's heads, frame the upper section. Each cassolette is topped with a non-removable pinecone-shaped lid and rests on a pedestal and then a square white marble base.
