The cool, naturally veined marble top sits with quiet authority atop a beautifully turned walnut column, which descends to an elegantly splayed tripod base with carved feet — a classic and enduringly beautiful silhouette that has graced the finest Continental drawing rooms for generations. The warm, dark walnut has developed a deep, lustrous patina over more than a century of use, providing a stunning visual counterpoint to the pale stone surface above. Versatile and timelessly proportioned, this pedestal table works beautifully as a center table, lamp table, or intimate breakfast table. Sourced from Belgium, an exquisite example of 19th century Continental furniture craftsmanship at its most elegant. See less
