A wonderfully eccentric pair of vintage 1980s figurative sculptures, distinguished by their exaggerated proportions, theatrical poses, and irreverent sense of humor.
Crafted in molded resin and individually hand painted, the figures depict a mustachioed gentleman and a glamorous woman in vintage bathing attire. Their expressive features, richly textured surfaces, and deliberately unconventional anatomy evoke the playful spirit of Postmodern design, with a distinct folk art sensibility.
Equal parts sculpture and satire, this charismatic duo brings an unexpected sense of personality to a curated interior. Particularly compelling displayed together as a sculptural pair.
