Together they make a handsome run of classic literature for a study, library or living-room bookcase. These are reading and decorative editions; no first-edition or rare-book status is claimed.

The seven volumes are Personal Recollections of Joan of Arc; The American Claimant with Pudd’nhead Wilson; The Prince and the Pauper with Those Extraordinary Twins; Tom Sawyer; The Gilded Age; A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur’s Court; and Huckleberry Finn. All seven books are included and sold together as one set, without dust jackets or slipcase. The previous catalog dates them circa 1960s–1970s, but exact publication dates and printings are unverified.

Each volume is approximately 8.5 inches high by 5.75 inches deep, with thickness varying by title. The complete group occupies approximately 9 inches of shelf width. These are previously recorded approximate measurements.

Pre-owned with visible shelf wear, rubbing and wear at the spine ends and board edges, uneven fading to the gilt lettering and red title bands, and age toning and spotting on exposed page edges. No interior-page photographs are supplied; annotations and inscriptions have not been individually verified. Please examine the photographs of the actual seven books. See less
