An enchanting mid-century modern Italian Florentine wall mirror, circa 1960s. Hand-crafted in Florence, Italy, this elegant accent piece features a beautifully sculpted frame executed in the theatrical Baroque and Rococo Revival tastes.
The frame is lavishly styled with an intricate openwork network of scrolling acanthus leaves, fluid C-scrolls, and a prominent organic crown crest that radiates dramatic visual movement. The original gilded surface has developed a wonderfully warm tone and soft, aged patina over time, beautifully highlighting the depth of the moldings and accentuating its classic Old World charm.
