It opens with three glass doors on three quarters of their surfaces. The central part, wider than the adjacent ones, is with a ''Ressaut'' and set in two pilasters with flutes, stopped at the bottom.
The high angles of these molded frames are cut in the ''Greek'' style and decorated with pretty bronze rosettes. Their lower parts are full, with large rectangular panels in recess, underlined by a molding. Each of these sashes locks independently and is equipped with a chiselled entrance, accompanied by its key and a working lock. The whole is in bronze and original.

Incontestable asset, the interior of this piece of furniture is entirely in oak, is partitioned. As it is, it is equipped with nine shelves on racks, and thus perfectly modular on a total height of arrangement of 134 and 144 cm. These three spaces can be arranged as desired, offering a depth of 35.5 cm to 38.5 cm. We note the possibility, at your will, to add more shelves.

This Library is surmounted by generously molded cornices, themselves overhanging bands embellished in the corners with worked bronzes. These represent vases filled with flowers and foliage in bouquet, as well as motifs in palmettes. We also find these decorations on the bottom rail.
The sides are composed of a single element, with a recessed panel with a nice mahogany veneer.

The whole piece rests on six uniform legs distributed as follows: four in front and two in the back. All of them are turned and fluted, with a circular brass bead.
This bookcase can be installed in interiors with awkward access since it can be entirely dismantled by a simple system of screws.
